Project Focus: Community Leadership Safety & Support
Location: Commute from Fontana, CA to Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Third Thursday of every month (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
At Holy Family Charities USA, our leadership and operational teams are driven by dedicated officers who volunteer their time to coordinate our community outreach programs. To maintain our operations, our board and officers gather for vital monthly planning sessions in Los Angeles.
Because our core leadership team includes senior citizens who commute all the way from Fontana, navigating heavy Southern California evening traffic and driving home late at night poses a significant safety risk.
Our Goal
To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our elderly officers, we are establishing a Safe Transit Fund. This initiative provides reliable, round-trip ridesharing or dedicated transport services for our senior team members on meeting nights. By removing the burden of late-night highway driving, we can protect our leadership while keeping our essential monthly programs running smoothly.
How You Can Help
Our estimated operational cost to secure safe transit for our senior officers is $200.00 per month.
